The Carolina Dance Club is a fun social dance club made up of people from around the Triangle, NC area. The organization is interested in promoting a variety of dance styles, most notably West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Salsa and Carolina Shag in "Smoke-Free" venues.

The Capital Area Shag Club is a non-profit social club that was founded in 1985.  Member of the Association of Carolina Shag Clubs.  It is our goal to have FUN while promoting beach music and shag dancing.  Our current membership is nearly 200 strong, and we are well known for our GREAT parties as well as our generous contributions to various charities.

The Raleigh Shag Club provides a place for fellowship for our 250 plus members to enjoy shagging and beach music. The Raleigh Shag Club is about having fun, promoting beach music and our favorite dance, "The Shag". We also participate in several charity events and programs through out the year.

Activities of the club include 20 - 30 Social functions per year. The Raleigh Shag Club holds a monthly Meeting and Social the second Sunday of each month at 6:30 PM at Reds Beach Music with a dinner and DJ. Other major parties include a huge Spring Forward Party with Reverse Raffle, and our annual Christmas Party. Other events have included club participation in SOS parades, Bus Trips to other Shag Clubs, Golf Outing, Club Bowling, participation with Shag Class Students in Socials and many other forms of entertainment.
